Pharita Boonpakdeethaveeyod was born on August 26, 2005, in Bangkok, Thailand, into a business-oriented family. Her mother runs a local flower shop, while her father works in the finance sector.1 Growing up in Bangkok's international community, Pharita attended Ruamrudee International School, one of Thailand's most prestigious educational institutions known for producing top students and sending dozens to medical schools annually.2

Before pursuing K-pop, Pharita established herself as a successful child model in Thailand. At just 13 years old in 2018, she won the title of Teen Model Thailand, along with victories at Talent Kids & Teen 2018 and Asia Junior Fashion Runway 2018.3 Her modeling achievements extended internationally—she secured the Grand Prize and Champion title at the 2019 International Fashion Exhibition in China, earned a silver medal at the 2019 Asia Pacific Arts Festival, and even claimed the Junior Street Dance Champion title at the Idol World Dance Cup in South Korea.3

On February 29, 2020, Pharita was introduced as contestant GI3218 on the Thai survival show "Idol Paradise."4 However, she departed the program before it officially aired—a decision that would prove pivotal. In July 2020, at age 14, Pharita auditioned for YG Entertainment's global auditions, performing BLACKPINK's "How You Like That."5 Her audition stood out dramatically: she was selected from an astonishing 1,226 applicants, representing one of the most competitive acceptance rates in K-pop trainee recruitment.6

During the "Last Evaluation" series that determined BABYMONSTER's final lineup, Pharita delivered a standout solo performance covering John Legend's "All of Me." The clean version of her performance was uploaded to BABYMONSTER's official YouTube channel on April 8, 2023, following Episode 5 of the series.9 Her rendition showcased her dreamy, pure vocal tone and emotional expressiveness that captivated audiences despite her young age.3

Lisa appeared in Pharita's introduction video and, along with Chiquita, dined with Lisa at a Thai restaurant where the BLACKPINK member gave them her signed CDs.5 More significantly, Lisa although did not mention Pharita's name but provding a hint saying "There is a Thai trainee that reminds me of when I was young. In March 2023, when BABYMONSTER's official lineup was announced, she faced criticism on Korean online forums regarding visual standards and her suitability for debut, with some viewers questioning her aura for a vocal position.1 During the group's promotional tour in Japan in May-June 2024, she suffered a minor wrist injury that required modifications to her choreography in certain performances.1 Despite these challenges, most likely due to her stable live performances gradually dispelled initial skepticism, earning growing recognition for her vocal prowess.

As BABYMONSTER released their first full studio album "DRIP" on November 1, 2024, and their second EP "We Go Up" on October 10, 2025, Pharita continued establishing herself as one of the crucial vocal pillar of the group.
